A short history about the Subaru Brat:
The BRAT was a coupe utility produced from 1978 to 1993. BRAT is an acronym for Bi-drive Recreational All terrain Transporter. It was brought on to compete against the Chevy El Camino and the Ford Ranchero. The BRAT was equipped with seatbelts in the truck bed, allowing it to be classified as a passenger vehicle and to escape the United States’ 25% light trucks tariff. The line was no longer imported into the United States in 1987 and was discontinued all together in 1993.
HID (High-Intensity Discharge) Lights, Bulbs, Lamps -
High-Intensity Discharge lamps are a type of arc lamp. Light is made in an arc lamp when electricity jumps across two points or electrodes. Usually the arc light bulb has a vacuum inside and when electricity is pushed from one side the electricity jumps across to the other side and creates light. High-Intensity Discharge works in the same fashion except it has a big power booster.
