A short history about the Nissan 240Z:
Though similar in name to the 240SX, the 240Z hatchback sports car has no relation to that later line. It was produced from 1969 to 1974 as a replacement for the Datsun Sports series. The base engine was a 2.4 L I6 that put out 151 horsepower. Its success in the North American market helped to break the perception that Japanese automakers were focus solely on building economical cars, although the price of the 240Z was certainly below those of its competitors. It has maintained its following even after its time, as evidenced by Sports Car International ranking the 240Z second on its Top Sports Cars of the 1970s list.
HID (High-Intensity Discharge) Lights, Bulbs, Lamps -
High-Intensity Discharge lamps are a type of arc lamp. Light is made in an arc lamp when electricity jumps across two points or electrodes. Usually the arc light bulb has a vacuum inside and when electricity is pushed from one side the electricity jumps across to the other side and creates light. High-Intensity Discharge works in the same fashion except it has a big power booster.
