A short history about the Honda Odyssey:
The Honda Odyssey is a 5-door minivan produced since 1995 through three generations in North America. The first generation Odysseys were used as part of New York City’s taxi fleet beginning in 1996. Passengers were pleased with the leg room and height advantages offered over cabs, as well as the rear air conditioning, unavailable in sedans of the time. The second generation Odysseys were marketed using images from the film 2001: A Space Odyssey. Changes included new sliding doors, increased size, and a new 3.5 L V6 engine. The second generation had problems with durability on its transmission and other parts, surprising given its predecessor’s reputation for reliability. This was corrected for the most part in the third and current generation. This Odyssey features modern conveniences such as side curtain airbags, daytime running lights and a backup camera.
HID (High-Intensity Discharge) Lights, Bulbs, Lamps -
High-Intensity Discharge lamps are a type of arc lamp. Light is made in an arc lamp when electricity jumps across two points or electrodes. Usually the arc light bulb has a vacuum inside and when electricity is pushed from one side the electricity jumps across to the other side and creates light. High-Intensity Discharge works in the same fashion except it has a big power booster.
