A short history about the Honda Element:
Produced since 2003, the Honda Element is a crossover compact SUV that is marketed as an economy car. It was based off the concept Model X showcased in 2001. It is designed with leisure in mind, allowing off-road activity while being able to carry sports equipment. The engine is a 2.4 L I4 engine, sufficient to generate 166 horsepower. The Element is front-wheel drive standard with an option for “Real Time” four-wheel drive, which automatically activates in the event of slippage. The Element hasn’t changed significantly, mechanically speaking. It has added various luxury features, such as XM Satellite radio and an MP3 player. Honda attempted to start a fad similar to “slugbug” by virtue of the “Elements and Friends” character Gil the Crab, whose catchphrase is “I pinch!”. Thus, like “slugbug”, anytime one sees an element, one would pinch a companion and repeat Gil’s catchphrase. The fad has yet to make the same popular impact.
HID (High-Intensity Discharge) Lights, Bulbs, Lamps -
High-Intensity Discharge lamps are a type of arc lamp. Light is made in an arc lamp when electricity jumps across two points or electrodes. Usually the arc light bulb has a vacuum inside and when electricity is pushed from one side the electricity jumps across to the other side and creates light. High-Intensity Discharge works in the same fashion except it has a big power booster.
