GMC Acadia HID Lights, Xenon Conversion Kits, Replacement Bulbs
To reiterate, the video explains that the xenon lamps mimic actual sunlight. This allows drivers to see as comfortably as possible at night. Increased contrast and color vision makes you feel more at ease and see much more clearly. One of the best pros is that the lights don’t interfere with the vision of oncoming drivers either, decreasing the chances of accidents on their end as well.

HID lights come in a range of colors, from yellow to white to blue to purple. The lower the number the “warmer” the color and the higher the number the “cooler” the color. When it comes to car headlights you want HID lights that are going to be from 3000K for super bright yellow fog lights to white, blue and purple headlights. The standard white is what most people have and not all colors are legal, unfortunately.
HID Light Colors Available For The GMC Acadia:
3,000K Fog Lights (Yellow)
6,000K (White w/ Blue)
10,000K (Blue w/ Purple)

A short history about the GMC Acadia:
The GMC Acadia is a full-size crossover SUV (GMC’s first) in production since 2007. It replaced both the Envoy XL and the Safari. It holds the distinction of being GMC’s first front-wheel drive passenger vehicle and its first crossover SUV. Like many SUVs produced in the last decade, the Acadia is equipped with rack and pinion steering, ill-suited to serious off-roading but comfortable handling on-road. GMC claims an 8 percent performance advantage over competitors due to its High Feature LY7 V6 engine and 6T75 six-speed automatic transmission. Sales so far have peaked in 2007, suggesting that the Acadia’s relative fuel economy is not enough against the present high fuel costs.
HID (High-Intensity Discharge) Lights, Bulbs, Lamps -
High-Intensity Discharge lamps are a type of arc lamp. Light is made in an arc lamp when electricity jumps across two points or electrodes. Usually the arc light bulb has a vacuum inside and when electricity is pushed from one side the electricity jumps across to the other side and creates light. High-Intensity Discharge works in the same fashion except it has a big power booster.
