Ford Ranchero HID Lights, Xenon Conversion Kits, Replacement Bulbs
The video above emphasizes that our xenon lights can save your life. The lights use a spectrum that mimics daylight, allowing humans to see easily and make color distinctions at night. This way, obstacles in the road appear much sooner and there is time to redirect to avoid an accident. Also, the lights do not interfere with oncoming traffic, making nighttime driving more desirable for everyone.

HID lights come in a range of colors, from yellow to white to blue to purple. The lower the number the “warmer” the color and the higher the number the “cooler” the color. When it comes to car headlights you want HID lights that are going to be from 3000K for super bright yellow fog lights to white, blue and purple headlights. The standard white is what most people have and not all colors are legal, unfortunately.

A short history about the Ford Ranchero:
The Ford Ranchero was something of an experiment in its day: an attempt to marry a pickup truck body to a station wagon platform, creating a sedan-based pickup. It began as a full-size model in 1957, with more cargo space than even the F-series pickups. This would be short-lived, as in 1960 the second generation was redesigned based on the compact Falcon. The new engine was 2.4 L I6, considerably more fuel-efficient than its predecessor. The third generation was a single year vehicle geared more towards power and performance than economy, offering the option of a big-block V8 in addition to the standard I6. The fourth generation saw another drastic change in size, this time to mid-size. The new interiors aped aspects of the Fairlane and the Torino. By the Ranchero’s seventh and final generation, it changed platforms yet again, this time to that of the Ford Thunderbird. This resulted in the inclusion of a 6.6L V8 engine standard. However, this worked against the Ranchero’s fortunes in the marketplace, as Americans were turning away from big cars with low fuel economy. The line was discontinued in 1979, to eventually be replaced by the Ranger.
HID (High-Intensity Discharge) Lights, Bulbs, Lamps -
High-Intensity Discharge lamps are a type of arc lamp. Light is made in an arc lamp when electricity jumps across two points or electrodes. Usually the arc light bulb has a vacuum inside and when electricity is pushed from one side the electricity jumps across to the other side and creates light. High-Intensity Discharge works in the same fashion except it has a big power booster.
