HID lights come in a range of colors, from yellow to white to blue to purple. The lower the number the “warmer” the color and the higher the number the “cooler” the color. When it comes to car headlights you want HID lights that are going to be from 3000K for super bright yellow fog lights to white, blue and purple headlights. The standard white is what most people have and not all colors are legal, unfortunately.

A short history about the Ford Freestyle:
The Ford Freestyle was introduced in 2005 to replace the Taurus station wagon. It was a crossover SUV produced over a single generation. The Freestyle struggled in the early going to find an identity on the market place. Though it had many comfort features of an SUV, such as seven-passenger seating, the 3.0 L V6 couldn’t deliver the performance of the best-selling Ford explorer. Even so, it was nominated for North American Truck of the Year in its debut. In 2008, the Freestyle was rebadged as the Taurus X in response to the perception that having car names that started with F made the Freestyle and the other new cars forgettable. Along with the name change came a facelift, featuring the inclusion of the distinctive Ford grille, which contained Ford’s blue oval logo flanked by three chrome bars. Ultimately sales never fully met expectations, and the line was cancelled in 2009.
HID (High-Intensity Discharge) Lights, Bulbs, Lamps -
High-Intensity Discharge lamps are a type of arc lamp. Light is made in an arc lamp when electricity jumps across two points or electrodes. Usually the arc light bulb has a vacuum inside and when electricity is pushed from one side the electricity jumps across to the other side and creates light. High-Intensity Discharge works in the same fashion except it has a big power booster.
