HID lights come in a range of colors, from yellow to white to blue to purple. The lower the number the “warmer” the color and the higher the number the “cooler” the color. When it comes to car headlights you want HID lights that are going to be from 3000K for super bright yellow fog lights to white, blue and purple headlights. The standard white is what most people have and not all colors are legal, unfortunately.

A short history about the Ford 500:
The 500 name evokes memories of Ford’s classic Fairline and Galaxie 500s. Such was the thinking behind the modern Ford 500, a mid-size sedan produced between 2005 and 2007. Along with the Fusion, this model was intended to replace the long-running Taurus line. It was designed taller than an ordinary sedan, no doubt an attempt to provide drivers with a view to compete with SUVs. The 500 also managed to maintain its interior volume while reducing exterior dimensions, thereby reducing fuel consumption, a key feature when fuel efficiency was seen as a major priority by consumers. The 500 was, however, criticized for its 3.0L Duratec V6 engine being underperforming and for the generally bland design. This lack of enthusiasm carried over to consumers, and sales were stagnant. In 2008, the line was rebadged as the Ford Taurus, and the line was discontinued.
HID (High-Intensity Discharge) Lights, Bulbs, Lamps -
High-Intensity Discharge lamps are a type of arc lamp. Light is made in an arc lamp when electricity jumps across two points or electrodes. Usually the arc light bulb has a vacuum inside and when electricity is pushed from one side the electricity jumps across to the other side and creates light. High-Intensity Discharge works in the same fashion except it has a big power booster.
