A Xenon conversion kit increases the color spectrum and mimics the spectrum of daylight. Since HID light is the same type of light that we see during the day our eyes naturally adjust to the light spectrum better. This makes driving not as strenuous on your eyes and can even get rid of those driving headaches. It last longer then halogen lamps and should last the duration of your vehicle. Above is a video that will describe the benefits of driving with a HID Lighting System.

HID lights come in a range of colors, from yellow to white to blue to purple. The lower the number the “warmer” the color and the higher the number the “cooler” the color. When it comes to car headlights you want HID lights that are going to be from 3000K for super bright yellow fog lights to white, blue and purple headlights. The standard white is what most people have and not all colors are legal, unfortunately.

A short history about the Chevy Trail Blazer:
Originally a high-end trim package for the Blazer, the Trailblazer was its own series from 2002-2009. Out of the gate, the Trailblazer won the North American Truck of the Year award at the North American International Auto Show in 2002. Its 4.2L I6 engine was featured on Ward’s 10 Best Engines list three years running from 2002-2005. The Trailblazer received a minor facelift for 2006, the LT model getting the bulk of the change in interior trim and front fascia. This line will be replaced by the Chevy Traverse. This discontinuation received extra publicity in “The Last Truck: Closing of a GM Plant”, a 2009 HBO documentary profiling the closure of the last factory to produce Trailblazers.
HID (High-Intensity Discharge) Lights, Bulbs, Lamps -
High-Intensity Discharge lamps are a type of arc lamp. Light is made in an arc lamp when electricity jumps across two points or electrodes. Usually the arc light bulb has a vacuum inside and when electricity is pushed from one side the electricity jumps across to the other side and creates light. High-Intensity Discharge works in the same fashion except it has a big power booster.
