HID lights come in a range of colors, from yellow to white to blue to purple. The lower the number the “warmer” the color and the higher the number the “cooler” the color. When it comes to car headlights you want HID lights that are going to be from 3000K for super bright yellow fog lights to white, blue and purple headlights. The standard white is what most people have and not all colors are legal, unfortunately.

A short history about the Chevy Suburban:
The Chevy Suburban has existed in some form since 1935, persevering through six generations. It is, in fact, the longest continuously produced brand still ongoing. It was originally conceived as essentially a Chevy pickup with a station wagon’s body, with the idea of Sport Utility Vehicles flowing from that. For many years, the “Suburban” tag was used across companies to designate this general design. Eventually, GMs competitors fell by the wayside, allowing Chevy to establish the name as its brand, trademarking it in 1988. From there, Chevy began to add other staples, such as a V8, that have been present since 1955. The third generation in 1973 firmly established the Suburban’s identity for the next 18 years and beyond. From its power 5.7 L V8 engine to family-friendly features such as four doors, the Suburban laid claim to being the ultimate versatile family vehicle. The 2010 model was ranked number one by U.S. News and World Report among affordable SUVs. Its current design reflects a more modern, aerodynamic aesthetic, while its interiors have been enhanced with such features as Bluetooth capability and radios with auxiliary USB ports. The 6.0 L V8 is also an advancement, thanks to the addition of Flex Fuel technology, allowing it to adapt to consumer concerns regarding conventional fuel prices. Recently, the Suburban has branched out into commercial service as a police and other emergency services’ SUV, limo service, and even as transports for the Secret Service.
HID (High-Intensity Discharge) Lights, Bulbs, Lamps -
High-Intensity Discharge lamps are a type of arc lamp. Light is made in an arc lamp when electricity jumps across two points or electrodes. Usually the arc light bulb has a vacuum inside and when electricity is pushed from one side the electricity jumps across to the other side and creates light. High-Intensity Discharge works in the same fashion except it has a big power booster.
