Chevy Silverado HID Lights, Xenon Conversion Kits, Replacement Bulbs
As stated, xenon lights mimic actual daylight, allowing humans to see as naturally as possible at night. The lamps increase contrast and colored vision, so that drivers can spot obstacles from much farther away. As an added bonus, your new HID lights are also easy on other driver’s eyes, as opposed to bright and dangerous high beam lights.

HID lights come in a range of colors, from yellow to white to blue to purple. The lower the number the “warmer” the color and the higher the number the “cooler” the color. When it comes to car headlights you want HID lights that are going to be from 3000K for super bright yellow fog lights to white, blue and purple headlights. The standard white is what most people have and not all colors are legal, unfortunately.

A short history about the Chevy Silverado:
Beginning life as a high-end trim package for C/Ks from 1975 to 1999, Silverado was finally launched into its own series of light pickup trucks in 1999, so far spanning two generations. It reached instant critical acclaim, winning Motor Trend’s Truck of the Year in its debut and winning Car and Driver’s Best Pickup Truck three years in a row from 2001-2003. They have been praised for the consistent performance from their Vortec V8 engines, a point which lead to Chevy marketing the truck on its dependability and longevity, culminating in the famous “Like a Rock”, featuring the well-known Bob Seger song of the same name. A hybrid version was also developed for 2005 which was tailored towards consumers in the construction field by including AC outlets by which to gain extra reserves of power while at work. In 2006, in honor of deceased race car driver Dale Earnhardt, Chevy came out with the “Intimidator SS”, which was actually a special edition of the Silverado SS. This came with performance suspension and Tenneco shocks. Beginning in 2008, along with all other full-size Chevy trucks, Silverados were no longer sold with manual transmissions.
HID (High-Intensity Discharge) Lights, Bulbs, Lamps -
High-Intensity Discharge lamps are a type of arc lamp. Light is made in an arc lamp when electricity jumps across two points or electrodes. Usually the arc light bulb has a vacuum inside and when electricity is pushed from one side the electricity jumps across to the other side and creates light. High-Intensity Discharge works in the same fashion except it has a big power booster.
