Chevy Lumina HID Lights, Xenon Conversion Kits, Replacement Bulbs
As stated, xenon lights mimic actual daylight, allowing humans to see as naturally as possible at night. The lamps increase contrast and colored vision, so that drivers can spot obstacles from much farther away. As an added bonus, your new HID lights are also easy on other driver’s eyes, as opposed to bright and dangerous high beam lights.

HID lights come in a range of colors, from yellow to white to blue to purple. The lower the number the “warmer” the color and the higher the number the “cooler” the color. When it comes to car headlights you want HID lights that are going to be from 3000K for super bright yellow fog lights to white, blue and purple headlights. The standard white is what most people have and not all colors are legal, unfortunately.
HID Light Colors Available For The Chevy Lumina:
3,000K Fog Lights (Yellow)

A short history about the Chevy Lumina:
The Chevy Lumina was produced beginning in 1990, replacing both the Celebrity sedan and the Monte Carlo coupe. The Monte Carlo name would return in 1995 as the Lumina coupe. A minivan version was also available until being replaced by the Venture in 1997, in part because of the confusion of having a minivan and sedan share the same name. After 1996, police package versions were sold to police departments following the discontinuation of the Caprice. The Lumina was discontinued in 2001. The name was resurrected for sale in the Middle East and South Africa, though these models (the third and fourth generations) are actually rebranded Holden Commodores.
HID (High-Intensity Discharge) Lights, Bulbs, Lamps -
High-Intensity Discharge lamps are a type of arc lamp. Light is made in an arc lamp when electricity jumps across two points or electrodes. Usually the arc light bulb has a vacuum inside and when electricity is pushed from one side the electricity jumps across to the other side and creates light. High-Intensity Discharge works in the same fashion except it has a big power booster.
